Business Analysis and Leadership: Influencing change book

I’ve been rather quiet over the last few months, haven’t I? There has been something on my mind! It’s my second book, ‘Business Analysis and Leadership: Influencing change’ co-edited with James Archer and co-authored with 26 other brilliant authors. It was published by Kogan Page in September at a price of £24.99 and is available from Amazon.com, Amazon.co.uk and the publishers themselves, often at a slight discount.

Here’s what it looks like:

Business Analysis and Leadership book

I thought that editing a book and only writing five chapters might take less time than my previous book, ‘A Short Guide to Facilitating Risk Management’, but I was mistaken! James and I really worked hard to make sure that all the chapters were consistently good and that they fitted in well with each other. The authors have done an amazing job of summing up their area of focus in a short number of pages, while still giving enough to get a lot out of the book.

While many people reading this blog come to change from a project management perspective, the questions on the cover might draw you in to this book:

  • Do you work with business change? (Yes!)
  • Do you strive to understand organisations undergoing change, define what’s needed and deliver value? (I hope so!)
  • Do you work towards the delivery of real and lasting benefits? (I’m sure you do!)

So, if those apply to you, you might well find this a really useful book. You can find out more and purchase the book here. Please let me know how you find it, perhaps by commenting here!
